E-invoicing mandate — Thailand

A national network exists, but participation in business-to-business trade is voluntary — often alongside an obligation on public bodies to be able to receive e-invoices. Anyone who wants to invoice electronically here can; nobody has to.

The stages over time

Thailand · invoice content and registration in force unverified

⚠ This is not an obligation but an option subject to approval. Anyone wishing to invoice electronically applies to the tax authority, demonstrates a recognised signature certificate and may issue only once the Director-General has approved; those approved are published by name. The reporting duty towards the authority applies to them alone — anyone who does not take part keeps invoicing on paper.

What Invoiceflair can do — Thailand

Thailand: the engine currently carries no national format of its own. Validating, viewing and converting the European formats remains available — only a country-specific mandatory format is missing.

Stated limit: Invoiceflair creates, validates and reads formats. It is not a Peppol access point and not a clearing service — it does not perform transmission to an authority's platform.
