E-invoicing mandate — Slovenia

The format is prescribed, the route is not: the invoice must be structured, but which channel carries it to the recipient is left to the parties. A format tool is sufficient here as well.

The stages over time

  1. 1/1/2015

Slovenia · to public authorities in force unverified

    Legal basis: ZOPSPU-1 / UJP · Last reviewed: 10/27/2026
  2. 1/1/2028 · in 431 days

Slovenia · between businesses next deadline

From 2028 Slovenia requires e-invoices exclusively between businesses — with no option in favour of paper, but also without central clearance: the exchange runs decentrally through approved providers. ⚠ Anyone reading "Slovenia from 2027" is confusing a partial deadline with the main one: April 2027 concerns only the accreditation of the providers, not the businesses. For micro-businesses the tax administration provides a free route.

What Invoiceflair can do — Slovenia

Create and validate: Peppol

Stated limit: Invoiceflair creates, validates and reads formats. It is not a Peppol access point and not a clearing service — it does not perform transmission to an authority's platform.
